Sean Smith has been STEP Policy Manager since 2013. He represents the Society at stakeholder meetings, oversees consultation responses and manages the development of guidance documents for members. Sean is Committee Secretary to both the England & Wales Regional Committee and the UK Practice Committee.

Before STEP, Sean was senior policy adviser at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and Intellectual Property Office representing the UK at high level negotiations on climate change, sustainability and international development.
