9Dan graduated from the University of Stirling with a BA (Hons) in History. Prior to joining STEP he worked in various policy roles in and around Westminster for a number of years. Most recently he worked at the civil liberties group Big Brother Watch as Research Director; overseeing the preparation of reports, consultation responses and inquiry submissions as well as representing the organisation externally in meetings with key stakeholders and in the media.
