John Read is Head of Editorial at STEP, where he manages its editorial and content streams, including the STEP Journal, Trust Quarterly Review, News Digests, and Member Newsletters. John began his career as an employment lawyer, practising at Trowers & Hamlins, Wilsons Solicitors and Shoosmiths. He then moved into legal publishing, working for companies including Reed Business Information, Thomson Reuters and Legalease, where he managed The Legal 500 UK. John is also a trained journalist, and a long-suffering Spurs fan.
